Rasmussen College strives to identify the diverse needs of the workforce and global community, and then provide challenging, relevant academic training to the students who can impact those communities. Rasmussen College was founded in1900 as the Rasmussen Practical School of Business in St. Paul, MN. It originally offered programs in fields like accounting and secretarial work, which helped a new generation of students become active community members in a booming workforce. During the 1960s and 1970s, the school expanded to support two new campuses and a new business curriculum that satisfied the ever changing demands of the industry. Today, Rasmussen College has campuses in Bismarck and Fargo, ND; Moorhead, Eagan, Eden Prairie, Mankato, Lake Elmo/Woodbury, St. Cloud and Brooklyn Park, MN; Green Bay, WI; Ocala and Pasco County FL; and Rockford, IL, as well as online. Rasmussen also has partnerships with schools like St. Joseph’s University, Northwestern Business College, Benedictine University, Brookdale Community College Scope Center, and Loyola University.
Students at Rasmussen are challenged at the Associate, Bachelor’s and Master’s levels, and can earn a variety of degrees and certificates to help them launch successful careers. From Massage Therapy and Healthcare Management programs in the School of Allied Health to Corporate Management and Banking in the School of Business to Criminal Justice and Paralegal programs in the School of Justice Studies to other degrees in Web Programming, Practical Nursing and Early Childhood Education, students have wide access to leading edge academic resources.
Online programs at Rasmussen continue to afford students accessible learning opportunities in the School of Allied Health, School of Justice Studies, School of Business, and School of Technology and Design. Students can earn a degree fully online or combine online classes with on campus classes for a totally customizable degree program.
